Our Story

Born from a simple belief

Homes From Angels was established in December 2024 in Forest Lake, Queensland, out of a deep conviction that everyone deserves safety, dignity and a place to belong. As rising living costs push more Australians toward crisis, we saw a growing need for practical, heart-led support.

Today we are a registered Australian charity, overseen by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). We work locally and directly — responding to real needs in our community with respect, warmth and without judgement.

To provide housing support, emergency relief and compassionate care that helps vulnerable people move from crisis toward stability and independence.

We believe support should be practical, respectful and easy to reach. Whether someone is facing the loss of their home, escaping family violence, or struggling to put food on the table, we aim to be a steady, reliable presence.

People come to us during some of the hardest moments of their lives. We meet every person with kindness, listening first and helping in ways that respect their dignity and choices.

Our work reaches across our community — including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse families, people in rural and regional areas, women and children, and youth. Everyone is welcome.
